Student Ambassador Program
What Does It Take to Become a Sandhills Ambassador?
Each spring, we invite students to apply for one of the most rewarding leadership
opportunities at the college — becoming a Student Ambassador.
Our Ambassadors are a select team of enthusiastic, dependable, and motivated students chosen to represent the college at special events both on campus and throughout the community. From welcoming future students to showcasing campus life, Ambassadors play an important role in creating the SCC experience.
Students are selected based on qualities such as leadership, communication skills,
professionalism, academic achievement, and the ability to connect with and represent
our diverse student body.
Being an Ambassador is more than a title — it is an opportunity to build confidence,
strengthen leadership skills, gain professional experience, make lasting friendships,
and leave a positive impact on the college community.
Ambassadors participate in monthly meetings, weekly campus tours, and a variety of campus and community events throughout the semester. Students can anticipate a 2-3 hour weekly commitment while earning a stipend each semester.
If you enjoy meeting new people, getting involved, and serving as a proud representative of the college, we encourage you to apply and become part of this outstanding student leadership team.
