Civil Engineering Technology
We will prepare you to use basic engineering principles and technical skills to carry out planning, documenting and supervising tasks in sustainable land development and public works and facilities projects.

Civil Engineering Technology is a growing field. Local engineering, construction, and surveying agencies recruit from our classes. Students who transfer and obtain a four-year degree will qualify to work as Civil Engineers and Construction Managers. Explore a career in civil engineering.

Graduates may pursue 4-year degrees in Architectural Technology & Design, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Geomatics (Surveying) and Sustainable Building Systems. These 4-year degree opportunities are available through the following North Carolina universities.**
