Fire and Rescue Training - WCE
Our program prepares students for the fast-paced environment of fire rescue. Students receive hands-on instruction from industry professionals who have decades of real-world knowledge. These courses dedicate most of their time to putting the skills and techniques taught in the classroom into practice.
This course is offered consistent with the current NC Fire and Rescue Commission guidelines.

State Governing Body: NC Fire and Rescue Commission
Associated State Agency: NC Department of Insurance (DOI) – Office of State Fire Marshal (OSFM)
The Fighfighter course will present the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to satisfy the requirements of The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
NFPA 1001 - Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualifications
NFPA 1072 - Standard for Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction Emergency Response Personnel Professinal Qualifications
Also included is:
- Traffic Incident Management System (TIMS) training
- Mayday and Firefighter Safety and Survival
- Emergency Medical requirements of NFPA 1001
