The Math Lab

Don’t think you can’t do well in college math? SCC mathematics faculty will make sure you can triumph over your problems (pun intended).

The Math Lab at Sandhills Community College is staffed by both full-time and part-time mathematics faculty who are dedicated to helping our students succeed in their math courses. There is no charge for their services.

The Math Lab is located in Stone 213 on the Pinehurst Campus and Johnson 109 at the Hoke Center. No appointment is necessary – you can drop in any time that the lab is open to get help with math or just to work on your coursework and receive help if needed. Unless otherwise stated, help is available for all MAT classes.

 

Summer 2026 Semester Hours

Johnson 109 at the Hoke Center

  • B-Session Math Lab Hours (May 27 thru June 24)

Mondays and Wednesdays 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Professor Pelerin – Help available for all MAT classes.

  • C-Session Math Lab Hours (June 30 thru July 29)

Wednesdays 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – Dr. McMillian– Help available for all MAT classes.

The Drop-In Math Lab will be closed the following days during the Summer 2026 semester:

    • June 25 – B Session Final Exam Day
    • June 29 – C Session Registration Day
    • July 2 – Independence Day
    • July 30 – A and C Session Final Exam Day
