Picnics & Parties

Planning a small party, outdoor luncheon or picnic with friends, family or the little ones? We have specified picnic areas around the Ball Garden Visitors Center that can be reserved for your special event. *Please note: picnics and parties are not allowed in any other parts of the gardens or lawn areas.

Ball Visitors Center Back Patio

Located just outside the back entrance of the Ball Garden Visitors Center, this patio spot has quaint iron tables and chairs and umbrellas to keep the sun at bay. There is also a side portico space that can be set up with additional tables and chairs upon request. These two spaces together can accommodate up to 30 people.

Picnic Table Area

These stone tables with umbrellas are located across the lawn to the right of the Ball Garden Visitors Center. They can accommodate up to 16 adults comfortably (4 at each table), and up to 24 people for children or smaller adults (6 at each table).

Lawn Area

The lawn space to the right of the Ball Gardens Visitor Center may be reserved on its own or in conjunction with the Picnic Table Area and/or Back Patio for outdoor gatherings.
