Defensive Driving/Alive at 25

Sandhills Community College Continuing Education offers courses designed to assist you with safe driving techniques to help you avoid citations, accidents and designed to fulfill court ordered requirements. 

DEFENSIVE DRIVING - 4 HOUR (ONLINE FOR ALL AGES) This online course through www.SAFETYSERVE.COM/NCBASIC can be used as an alternative to the Alive@25 class but is created online for all age of drivers. The result is a more responsible driver who grasps best practices to prevent injury and death while operating a motor vehicle. This class is open to any individual or business wanting to increase awareness.  

Class cost is $70.00 

• You will now have up to 14 days to complete your training. You may leave and return to the program as often as you like but access will expire after 14 days, whether completed or not. There are no refunds.  
• You must complete the entire course to earn your Certificate of Completion.  

• The Safety and Health Council of North Carolina will e-mail you electronic notification of course completion within three business days.  
• The Safety and Health Council of North Carolina will also provide an original, security controlled National Safety Council 4 Hour Defensive Driving Course Certificate of Completion. This Certificate will be mailed directly to you, by US Postal Service, at the address provided when you registered.   

To register: please call our registration department at 910-695-3980 to create your students record. You will also be asked to provide your citation number, driver’s license number, and court date.
