1.12 Substantive Change

Sandhills Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), who defines substantive change.  As an SACSCOC member college, Sandhills Community College is required to review and report institutional, location, and academic program changes that are a significant modification or expansion of the nature and scope of the college.  Established procedures ensure the college consistently reviews and reports substantive changes to SACSCOC in a timely, consistent, and correct method.

Additionally, SCC policies and procedures are reviewed and updated to reflect any substantive changes as defined in the SACSCOC Substantive Change Policy and Procedures.
