ATEX is currently hiring for:

  • Intricate Assembly Technician - Precision small component assembly
  • Quality Inspection Technician - Visual inspection of finished products using tools and gauges
  • Weave Technician - Loom setup, startup and monitoring
  • Starting pay - $17.50 per hour for all positions
  • Available shifts - 3-11 p.m. and 11 p.m.-7 a.m.

Partnership

This training is offered through a partnership between Sandhills Community College Workforce Development and ATEX Technologies, a local medical textile manufacturer. The partnership helps ensure participants gain relevant skills while connecting directly with employment and long-term career growth opportunities in medical manufacturing.

Fee: Fee-waiver eligible for those who qualify
