Alumni Association, Serving the College
If you would like to give back to Sandhills Community College, we have many ways in which you can participate.
Our Tutoring Center would love to have you assist a new generation of learners. Maybe you have a passion for helping students or wish to share the knowledge you have gained in your field. Contact our Tutoring Center and find out how you can help.
Serve on an Advisory Board of a program at the college in which you have experience. Contact the Program Director listed on each programs web section and express an interest.
Volunteer to serve on our Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Attend our Athletic events and Alumni Socials (add link to “Alumni Socials”). We have a dynamic and growing Athletic Program (keep link to the athletic page), including Women’s and Men’s Golf, Men’s Basketball, and Women’s Volleyball. The men’s basketball team won the NJCAA 2012 National Championship, leading to an unparalleled excitement in the program. The fall of 2017 welcomes Women’s and Men’s Cross Country (add link to Cross Country on the Athletic’s home page) under the exceptional coaching of Jef Moody, Sandhills local and one-time Olympic hopeful.
You are also welcome to use the resources and services of the Katharine L. Boyd Library.
If you wish to help plan and assist at Homecoming, let us know.
And of course, one of the best ways to give back to the college is to donate monetarily. The Athletic Program at the college would not be possible without the involvement of our Alumni. We have many scholarships that are supported by Alumni. We also have several levels of giving to The Foundation.
