For students, faculty and/or staff planning travel outside of the United States and requiring access to campus systems such as Moodle, Self-Service, or email, Virtual Private Network (VPN) software will be required. Information Technology Services recommends Nord VPN https://nordvpn.com/ 

It is also strongly encouraged that the user checks out an authentication device from ITS for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) purposes. It is not guaranteed that cell phones will work for MFA in foreign countries.  Additionally, for security purposes, the College will generally block communication with high-risk countries.  

If travel abroad is planned, and the individual expects access to campus systems while away, ITS must be alerted at least two weeks in advance for setup.
