1.8.2 Staff Council

The Staff Council is an integral component of the shared governance process at Sandhills Community College. All full- and part-time staff are members of the Staff Council. Staff Council provides a forum for staff to foster cooperation with the administration and faculty to uphold the college’s mission. As active members, staff are expected to exchange ideas, make recommendations relating to institutional policies and procedures, and participate on institutional committees, department committees, and faculty and staff search committees. Every reasonable effort is made to foster and maintain effective communication within, between, and among the various constituencies of the College.
