Sandhills Community College President Alexander “Sandy” Stewart and his administrative team celebrated employee milestones with years of services awards, retirees and various award winners for service in the Owens Auditorium at the Bradshaw Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, May 13.
“This is a great day to celebrate the foundation of our college and what makes it so special to our students and our community,” said Stewart. “Without the dedication, gifts and talents of our faculty and staff, we would not be the leaders in education for the Sandhills community in Moore and Hoke counties. Since 1963, we have been a critical team player to the region for educational needs, economics development, and social mobility for thousands of families and businesses. Today we say thank to those who have made and continue to make a difference.”
