Must be available between 8am-12pm.

Job Summary 

We are in need of a student worker to help out in the visual arts department. The student worker will help clean and help maintain different areas of the art department. The worker/s will work closely with the visual arts department professors in a vibrant creative atmosphere. 

Essential Functions 

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

Primary Duties 

  • Sweeping, mopping, cleaning, unloading kilns, help maintain machines, dusting, cutting paper, making posters, promoting shows, gallery set up, gallery take down, and a variety of other creative jobs along the way.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Able to lift 10-40 pounds
  • Able to use simple hand tools such as drills, sanders, and saws
  • Able to use photoshop or equivalent software
  • Detail oriented

Working Conditions 

At times messy and dusty, prepare to get dirty when working. Most works wear aprons or have a change of clothes on days that we are painting/etc.
