“Hats Off to Reading!” A Salute to Books
Come enjoy books, poems, and riddles that celebrate reading, the love of books, and the wonders of reading aloud to a child! Children and parents are invited to come wearing a hat – any kind will do – the crazier the better! Our program will start at 10:15 and we will have one story time. Each family will receive a cloth bag for parents and children to design as their very own Saturday Children’s Program book bag. There will be a craft center for parents to help their child create a hat. We will also have puzzles, games and other educational activities, take-away bags, a new book raffle and treats for all.
