Once the President approves the schedule, it is presented to the Board of Trustees for final approval.
The Legal Holidays are as follows:

Easter Friday or Monday as academic calendar dictates (1 day)
Memorial Day (1 day)
Independence Day (1 day)
Labor Day (1 day)
Veterans Day (1 day)
Thanksgiving (2 days)
Christmas (2 or 3 days)

All full-time college employees shall be entitled to Holiday Leave with pay on Legal Holidays. During periods when the college is closed for deferred maintenance projects and/or for system upgrades in Information Technology, employees are directed to complete the required online human resources, safety, and security training and the self-evaluation portion of the college’s personnel evaluation process or to use accumulated compensatory time if appropriate.
