Your Advisor

 

During Pre-Advising, you will be assigned an academic advisor. Your academic advisor will be the person with whom you meet prior to each semester to discuss your educational plans and build a schedule of classes.

Even though you will have an advisor, the responsibility is ultimately yours to make sure you are taking the proper classes in order to earn the degree, diploma or certificate you seek. If you are planning on transferring to a four-year college or university, you should contact them and verify the requirements for the program in which you wish to transfer. When you are ready to graduate, your advisor will assist you in completing your Application for Graduation.
