Student Classifications
Degree-Seeking
Students who are seeking an associates degree, diploma, or certificate are classified as degree-seeking students.
Non Degree-Seeking
Students who are taking classes at Sandhills Community College but are not pursuing a degree are our non degree-seeking students. For example, this may be an individual taking classes for self-enrichment or a student enrolled at another college or university who takes classes to transfer to a home college.
