Creating Success

Algene JohnsonBrett Sullivan

Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Highland Country Club, Fayetteville, North Carolina

“The small class sizes at Sandhills and the large amounts of time spent interacting with the instructors are invaluable.”

“I can’t imagine that there is a better instructor than George Thompson when it comes to turf management,” said Brett Sullivan. “He has so much actual experience and is such a wealth of knowledge, the Turfgrass Management Technology program at Sandhills is very fortunate to have him.

Thompson is one of the many adjunct instructors at Sandhills who have had successful careers in a field and now teach their trade to a new generation.

Sullivan graduated with an associate’s degree in Golf Course Management with a concentration in Turfgrass Technology. He is currently employed as an Assistant Superintendant on a Donald Ross course at Highland Country Club in Fayetteville.
