Upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB). Graduates
of CAAHEP accredited medical assisting program may be eligible to sit for the American
Association of Medical Assistants’ (AAMA) Certification Examination to become Certified
Medical Assistants, CMA (AAMA).
