Tuition-Free Career Training Opportunities

Sandhills Community College offers Moore and Hoke County public school juniors and seniors the opportunity to take Continuing Education classes tuition-free. Students then have the potential to take two additional years of classes at Sandhills at no cost through the Sandhills Promise.

Programs offered in partnership with Hoke and Moore County Schools have different approved programs.

  • Pharmacy Technician
  • Certified Medical Administration Assistant (CMAA)
  • Electrocardiogram Technician (EKG)
  • Electrical Levels 1 and 2
  • Firefighter Academy
  • HVAC Core Skills and Level 1
  • Plumbing Core Skills and Level 1
  • ABB Robotics Technician
  • Nurse Aide Level 1 (NA1)

Pinecrest, Union Pines, and North Moore, and MCS Connect Academy
