Principles of Exellence
Sandhills Community College is committed to providing a personalized shopping sheet to veterans and service members before they decide to attend the institution. By law, Sandhills Community College is required to provide covered individuals (beneficiaries utilizing chapters 30, 31, 33, or 35 of title 38, U.S.C., or chapter 1606 of title 10, U.S.C.) with a personalized shopping sheet. Personalized shopping sheets must be provided within 15 days after tuition and fees are determined for the academic year if there is a change. In compliance with Consumer Information, Sandhills Community College has agreed to comply with the Principles of Excellence for educational institutions serving service members, veterans, spouses, and other family members.
Academic advisors provide covered individuals with a Program Evaluation outlining how those individuals will fulfill all the requirements necessary to graduate along with the expected timeline of completion of the desired program of study. Program Evaluations reflect awarded transfer credits from relevant military experience and satisfactory coursework completed from previous accredited institutions; credits awarded are contingent upon evaluation of all official transcripts.
