Technology course topics range from the most basic information for the absolute beginner to highly technical skills needed in the workplace. Whatever your stage in computer use, your classmates will be right there with you. Many classes are taught in our Frick Innovation and Technology Center. iPhone/iPad – Crash Course

Working with a new iPhone or iPad? By taking this condensed summer course you will:
Get started using Apple iOS and learn the basics of sending/receiving emails and texts messages.
Learn how to surf the web, taking and sharing photos, understanding your AppleID (iCloud) and installing new apps.
Students must bring an iPad and/or iPhone to class with the latest operating system (iOS) installed.

Get a basic introduction to Google Drive as a file management resource, which will allow you access to your files anytime you have internet access.
Learn to use Google’s simple, flexible file and document sharing features.
Become use Google’s excellent suite of office software, including Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Drawings, and Google Forms.

IT CREDENTIALS AND CYBER SECURITY

This is the first in this series of our CompTIA IT Credentials and Cyber Security track of 3 certification preparation courses. CompTIA A+ is the industry standard for establishing a career in IT and the preferred qualifying credential for technical support and IT operational roles — is about much more than PC repair.
