THE GLORY OF VISUAL ARTS DURING THE RENAISSANCE

The Glory of Visual Arts During the Renaissance, will be held in Clement Dining Room on Thursday, March 14. Carolyn Allmendinger, Director of Academic Programs at the Ackland Art Museum at UNC Chapel Hill, and our very own SCC Professor Abbe Allen will be our presenters.
Traditionally, these seminars have been held on the UNC campus. In a desire to expand locations outside of Chapel Hill, Sandhills (which has hosted several of these seminars since 2017) was chosen as one of the regional homes for Carolina Public Humanities: Humanities on the Road. The seminar, which begins at 10:30 am (registration opens at 10 am) and ends at 3 pm, will include lunch.
