“Get into Good Character!” A Book Character Festival

Come enjoy the sharing of some of the most beloved stories and book characters in children’s literature – from both classic books and ones recently published.  The book show will begin at 10:15 a.m. Since parents and children will select books during the show, we won’t repeat our presentation, as we usually do, at 11:00 a.m.   A variety of children’s books series will be on display for check out as well as books about taking care of our planet to celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd.  Our game area will include Book Character Bingo, pin the hat on Curious George, pin the glasses on Junie B. Jones or Arthur, as well as puzzles and tic-tac-toe.  Children and parents are invited to come dressed as their favorite book character and we will have a treat for all that do.
