Hoke County residents will no longer need travel to Pinehurst to earn an associate degree from Sandhills Community College. Complete your degree in Raeford at the Sandhills Hoke Center in as fast as two years.

We now offer most classes for five degrees in traditional face-to-face classroom instruction formats. Some classes will be hybrid (part classroom, part online), and a few will be online.

New Students

Fall semester begins on August 15.

First step: Apply to attend SCC here. We will then help you set up your student account and register for classes.

Second Step: Apply for financial aid here. Don’t assume you won’t qualify. You will only know if you apply. To receive funds in hand to pay fall semester tuition, you need to submit this by July 14. After that date you can still apply, but completion by July 14 assures that your application will be processed in time.

Returning Students

We suggest you meet with an advisor and make sure you are on track with classes that lead to the credential you are working toward. Or you can register for classes using Self Service.

If you have been away from SCC for more than 15 months, you will need to reapply. Check here for information.
