Registration Information and Process
- Register for classes using our online registration form or calling 910-695-3980.
- In order to gather additional information, you will be contacted by an associate within one business day. Please be sure to leave current contact information including e-mails and phone numbers.
- At this time, you will be given additional information regarding payment of your registration and any pertinent class details.
Start your registration process by clicking on either the New Students or Returning Students link below and we will contact you for payment. Preregistrations must be made two days before class starts. Later registrations must be made by calling 910.695.3980.
Fill out the registration form (pdf) or call 910.695.3766 for a registration form and mail it to: Sandhills Community College, Continuing Education Registration, 3395 Airport Rd, Pinehurst, NC 28374. Include payment with registration form. Class sizes are limited so please be advised that your mail-in registration form may not reach us before the class fills.
Fax the registration form (pdf) to 910.692.6998. Payment must be made by credit card for fax registration.
Please register at least one week prior to the first class meeting for all Continuing Education courses. We reserve the right to cancel a course based on enrollment.
Refunds: 100% if requested before a course begins or if the course is cancelled; 75% if requested after a course begins, but before 10% of the total class meetings.

Continuing Education Units
Credits: The Division of Continuing Education awards Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for appropriate programs. The Commission on Colleges defines the CEU as: One Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is ten (10) contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.
CEUs reported to the Dept. of Public Instruction require a certificate of credit issued by the Division of Continuing Education. Students should notify instructors at the beginning of a course if CEUs are needed for public instruction certification.
High School Equivalency Orientation and Registration Procedures
The completion of pre-assessments and attendance of an orientation is required. Orientations are offered monthly in both Moore and Hoke Counties. With a valid score on the assessment, students will be placed in the appropriate level class. Start your journey by completing the Online Orientation Request.
Call 910-695-3980 (Pinehurst) 910-875-8589 (Raeford) or submit an Online Orientation Request to schedule your orientation date and time.
All 16- and 17-year-old minors must complete and have notarized a Petition for the Admission of a Minor form and meet with a college official prior to attending orientation. Accompanying the minor must be at least one parent or legal guardian. After downloading the form, obtaining all required signatures, and having it notarized, call Tess Regan at 910-695-3777 to schedule an appointment.
