Science Department
The purpose of the Department of Science at Sandhills Community College is to prepare students for careers in technical fields and for transfer to baccalaureate institutions by completing the general education science requirements for their degree programs. The department offers courses in anatomy and physiology, astronomy, biology, botany, chemistry, geology, microbiology, physics, and zoology.
