SandHoke Early College High School

SandHoke Early College High School is a partnership between the Hoke County School System and Sandhills Community College. At the conclusion of the five-year plan of study, graduates will receive a high school diploma from Hoke County Schools and an Associate in Arts or Associate in science degree from Sandhills Community College. 

 

Admissions

Admission to SandHoke Early College High School begins when Hoke County middle school students are in the eighth grade. Students and their parents will complete an application form with Hoke County Schools.

 

Plan of Study 

SandHoke Early College High School students begin working toward completion of the Associate in Arts degree in their sophomore year of high school, with the plan of completing the Associate in Arts degree at the end of their fifth, “super senior,” year. They will complete one-two college courses each semester during their sophomore and junior years at SandHoke Early College High School, which is located at the Sandhills Community College Hoke County Center in Raeford, NC. In their senior year they will transfer to the main campus of Sandhills Community College, where they will continue to take college courses during their senior and super senior years.
