COVID-19 Campus Exposure Procedures:

The College has developed campus procedures that all faculty, staff, and students are expected to follow:

Positive diagnosis: Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 must notify the Sandhills Community College COVID Team at scccovid19@sandhills.edu.  A member of the team will determine when a positive individual may return to campus based on current CDC guidelines.

Exposure: Individuals who have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 should wear a mask for ten days and get tested on day five.

Illness: Those suffering from a contagious illness should remain off campus until they are fever free and symptoms are improving.

If a diagnosis or illness impacts a student’s ability to participate in class(es), it is important that they notify their instructors as soon as possible.

Thank you to our faculty, staff, students, and community for everything you are doing to keep our campus safe.
