With appropriate authorization, Sandhills Community College employees may establish official College social media sites. Social media refers to web technologies that enable individuals to disseminate or receive information, communicate, or otherwise interact through providers such as Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and others.  All College Social Media Sites must respect intellectual property rights, federal copyright law, accessibility guidelines and College policies.
