5.19 Workers Compensation

The College is covered by Worker’s Compensation insurance against injuries which occur while employees are at work. Employees should note that claims must be filed within 48 hours of injury. Those filed later could risk loss of coverage. Supervisors who are aware of an injury qualifying for Worker’s Compensation are expected to notify the Associate Vice President of Human Resources in a timely fashion. Employees who wish a brochure on this insurance should contact the Associate Vice President of Human Resources.
