5.14.4 Leave Without Pay

Leave without pay may be granted under limited circumstances:
- For illness when sick and vacation leaves have been exhausted;
- For extended study; or
- Military leave beyond fifteen calendar days per year provided that the request is made in writing in advance to the appropriate dean for his/her recommendation and for approval by the president.
- Other circumstances warranting leave without pay must be approved by the appropriate provost/vice president.
