4.6.1 Adjudication

Sandhills Community College will establish and practice due process to resolve instances of student and employee grievance. In any situation where a student feels she/he have a right to a grievance, the student should contact the Associate Vice President of Student Services for discipline-related issues or the Dean of Instruction for academic-related issues. If the complaint comes to the Associate Vice President of Student Services, he/she will review the situation and determine if the grievance should be adjudicated through the Office of the Associate Vice President of Student Services or be facilitated through the Office of the Dean of Instruction. The comparable process will be carried out if the complaint first comes to the Dean of Instruction.
