1.8 Faculty Assembly, Staff Council, and Student Participation

The Faculty Assembly and the Staff Council are hereby established to allow formal avenues through which to promote the general faculty welfare and to establish the faculty and staff roles in the governance of the College. The students of Sandhills Community College are encouraged and expected to participate in the decision-making process involving those issues that affect them.
 
Faculty Assembly, in conjunction with the Office of the Vice President of Instruction and the Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and Institutional Planning, are responsible for the review, development, approval, implementation, publication, and revision of academic policies
