The Board of Trustees of Sandhills Community College will be established and maintained in accordance with State of North Carolina directives as established, reviewed, and revised by legislative and state agencies.
The Board of Trustees of Sandhills Community College consists of fourteen members. Thirteen are appointed to four-year terms. Four are appointed by the Governor, four by the Moore County Board of Commissioners, four by the Moore County Board of Education, and one by the Hoke County Board of Commissioners.The fourteenth member is the president of the Student Government Association who serves as a non-voting member during his/her one-year occupancy of that office.
Trustee standing committees include the Buildings and Grounds Committee, Education Programs Committee, Finance Committee, Planning Committee, Student Affairs Committee, and Personnel Committee. The Chair of the Board is an ex officio member of all Board committees.
