SandHoke Early College High School is a partnership between the Hoke County School System and Sandhills Community College. At the conclusion of the five-year plan of study graduates will receive a high school diploma from Hoke County Schools and an Associate in Arts degree from Sandhills Community College. "The mission of SandHoke Early College High School is to provide a smaller, more personalized learning community that will prepare all students for a challenging program of study by developing academic rigor, providing relevant coursework and building student/community relationships." In addition to courses required by Hoke County Schools for the high school diploma, students will also complete the required plan of study for the Associate in Arts degree.

Associate in Arts (A10100)

The Associate in Arts degree is recommended for students who plan to transfer to four-year colleges or universities to pursue programs of study leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree. Community college graduates who have earned 64 semester hours of academic credit in approved transfer courses with a grade of "C" or better in each course and an overall GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale will receive at least 64 semester hours of academic credit upon admission to a UNC-System university through the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement. Courses may also transfer through transfer agreements with other institutions.

Note: Courses marked in bold with an asterisk are offered on the Hoke Center campus during grades 10 and 11 (SandHoke years 2 and 3). Students will complete their A.A. degree requirements by completing other courses on the Sandhills Pinehurst campus during grades 12 and 13 (SandHoke years 4 and 5).
