The University Studies Program provides opportunities for students to complete courses that will transfer as baccalaureate credit to four-year colleges and universities. Students can earn Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, or Associate in Fine Arts degrees and then continue their education as juniors at the university. Students who complete the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science Core Diploma before transferring to the UNC System will have satisfied the general education requirements of the transfer institution. Sandhills also maintains bi-lateral transfer agreements with selected universities so that students with certain Associate in Applied Science degrees can transfer into university-designated baccalaureate degree programs. On the Sandhills campus, students can also earn selected B.A., B.S., and M.A. degrees from several universities. Please use the links on the left for details.

Evening Hybrid Program

Beginning fall 2008, students can complete the Associate in Arts Core Diploma in two years by attending classes only two nights per week through the Evening Hybrid Program. Click the speaker to hear the news!
