From Greensboro
- Take US 220 (I-73/74) south to Candor.
- Outside Candor, exit US 220 (I-73/74) onto NC 211 south to traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
- Enter traffic circle in left lane and exit in the left lane at third exit onto NC 2 at the Sandhills exit.
- Remain in the left lane after exiting the circle and bear left onto Airport Road after about 300 yards. After 2.4 miles, turn right into the main college entrance and continue straight for about 200 yards. Then continue to the right for another 200 yards and then left to Van Dusen Hall.
From Chapel Hill, Durham
- Take US 15-501 south to Sanford. US 15-501 merges with US 1 at Sanford. Stay on US 1 to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd. and Sandhills Community College. Take this exit.
- Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp. Continue on NC 2 for 200 yards. Exit right onto NC 22 (Central Drive) and continue for about 3 miles to the stop light intersection of Airport Road. Turn left at the light and continue for about one mile. You will pass the Sandhills Horticultural Gardens Visitors Center on your left and then the entrance to the Automotive Department, Heutte Hall (Landscape Gardening), and Kennedy Hall. Continue to the main college entrance and turn left at the second entrance. Then continue straight for about 200 yards. Then continue to the right for another 200 yards and then left to Van Dusen Hall.
From Raleigh
- Take US 1 south to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd. and Sandhills Community College. Take this exit.
- Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp. Continue on NC 2 for 200 yards. Exit right onto NC 22 (Central Drive) and continue for about 3 miles to the stop light intersection of Airport Road. Turn left at the light and continue for about one mile. You will pass the Sandhills Horticultural Gardens Visitors Center on your left and then the entrance to the Automotive Department, Heutte Hall (Landscape Gardening), and Kennedy Hall. Continue to the main college entrance and turn left at the second entrance. Then continue straight for about 200 yards. Then continue to the right for another 200 yards and then left to Van Dusen Hall.
From Rocky Mount, Wilson
- Take I-95 to Benson. Exit at Benson
- In Benson take NC 27 to Coats, then Buies Creek, then Lillington, then Cameron.
- Drive through the village of Cameron and exit onto US 1 south.
- Take US 1 south to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd. and Sandhills Community College. Take this exit.
- Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp. Continue on NC 2 for 200 yards. Exit right onto NC 22 (Central Drive) and continue for about 3 miles to the stop light intersection of Airport Road. Turn left at the light and continue for about one mile. From Morehead City, New Bern, Kinston, Goldsboro
- Take US 70 to I-95 and take I-95 south.
- Take I-95 to Benson. Exit at Benson

- From the northeast side take NC 24 to Cameron.

- From the southwest side take US 401 to the Raeford by-pass and then NC 211.
- Take NC 211 to Aberdeen, where NC 211 merges with US 15-501 and US 1 north. Continue north on 1/15-501/211 about two miles to the second stop light.
- Before the second stop light, merge into the left lane and continue north on US 15-501/NC 211 to the traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
- Approaching the traffic circle, stay in the right lane, which does not yield.

From Rockingham
- Take US 1 north to Aberdeen, where US 1 north merges with NC 211 and US 15-501. Continue north on 1/15-501/211 about two miles to the second stop light.

From Laurinburg
- Take US 15-501 north to Aberdeen. US 15-501 merges with US 1 north in Aberdeen. Continue north on 1/15-501/211 about two miles to the second stop light.
- Before the second stop light, merge into the left lane and continue north on US 15-501/NC 211 to the traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
- Approaching the traffic circle, stay in the right lane, which does not yield.

From Wilmington, Whiteville, Laurinburg
- From Wilmington, take US 74/76 to Whiteville. Continue on US 74/76 to Laurinburg.
- Take the US 15-501 by-pass from Laurinburg to Aberdeen. Note: The by-pass also includes US 401 to Raeford and Fayetteville. US 501 exits right off of the by-pass. You will then turn left over US 401 and continue to Aberdeen.
- In Aberdeen, 15-501 will merge with NC 211 and US 1. Continue north on 1/15-501/211 about two miles to the second stop light.
- Before the second stop light, merge into the left lane and continue north on US 15-501/NC 211 to the traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
- Approaching the traffic circle, stay in the right lane, which does not yield.
