  • Parking Regulations

Students are required to park in paved parking spaces which are not reserved for visitor's, faculty, or staff. Reserved parking applies to vehicles from 8am - 3pm, Monday through Friday, after which anyone may park in these spaces. A one-hour time limit applies to all visitor spaces. When paved parking spaces are filled, the college will provide designated unpaved areas for temporary student use. Restricted parking, including handicapped parking, is marked with appropriate signs.
decal locationAt registration, all students are required to obtain a permit which entitles you to park at the college. The permit must be affixed to the left rear bumper or displayed in the left rear window of your vehicle.

  • This permit will also enable the staff to notify you in an emergency (e.g., your lights are left on, someone bumped into your vehicle). If you temporarily drive a vehicle without a permit, you must obtain a temporary permit from the college receptionist in Stone Hall. Vehicles parked on campus without permits will be in violation. Repeated violations of the campus parking regulations will be considered an offense of the student code of conduct.
  • For the first few days of each semester, staff members may need to direct vehicles into temporary parking areas. Please follow the instructions you are given during this period of orientation.
  • For your safety and protection, the Homer lot is closed at dark.

  • Please take all reasonable precautions to see that your personal belongings are protected at all times. Don't leave books, money, and/or personal items where they can become a temptation for others. We encourage you not to leave valuable items in unlocked vehicles or exposed to view even in locked vehicles.

    Handicapped Parking
Disabled students may receive handicapped parking permits after presenting appropriate DMV documentation to the campus switchboard operator.
Campus parking lots have designated areas for the disabled and all buildings are accessible to the disabled. Some parking spaces for disabled are designated "Wheel Chair Only." Those needing assistance around the campus are encouraged to contact the ADA [Americans with Disabilities Act] Coordinator in Kennedy Hall, room 145 or call 695-3707.
