STUDENT PROFILE: Hannah Bullen

Hannah Bullen wasn’t exactly sure which career she wanted to pursue when she began at Sandhills but decided to study Business Administration because “almost everything involves a business,” she said. Hannah likes learning about the mindsets and accomplishments of entrepreneurs. Her goal is to speak on behalf of “things for which I’m passionate: sharing the truth, exposing propaganda, and helping people find their true value.” She hopes the business knowledge she is acquiring at SCC will assist her wherever she goes in life and wants to continue using her voice to make a positive difference in the world.

It’s no surprise that her favorite class is public speaking, taught by Joy Karcher, that she took her first semester at SCC. “I learned many of the fundamentals of properly and comfortably public speaking in that class.”

As a Student Ambassador at Sandhills, Hannah is already flexing her public speaking muscles, where she leads tours for prospective students and represents the student body at events on campus and in the community.

“The people at Sandhills make the place special. The caring energy of the staff and faculty is evident from the smiling faces of the front desk associates to the maintenance crew and the instructors.”

In her spare time, if she’s not in class or studying, you can probably find her in the game room playing ping-pong. She also loves spending time with family and friends.
