South Pacafic
Sandhills Community College is pleased to present the timeless musical theatre classic “South Pacific”. In 1947 when James Michener wrote his Pulitzer Prize-winning epic “Tales of the South Pacific” that would later become the musical, he was able to capture perfectly the variety of characters that inhabited a group of South Pacific islands during WWII where men and women were in military service living amongst the natives. The characters in this play come from all corners of the world and have their respective set of beliefs. The story paints a picture that we are all different but love shows everyone we are really the same. Join us in celebrating this timeless tale featuring a very talented and dedicated cast, orchestra and production crew!!!
