The job placement office provides students with the tools they need to market the skills they develop in their technical fields of study and to assist them in obtaining employment after graduation.

    Eligibility: To qualify for job placement services a student must be currently enrolled, in good academic standing with the college, or a graduate of one of the technical or college transfer programs offered by the college.

    Policy and Procedures

    Currently enrolled students: Students may apply for services at any time during the school year. Applications remain active for the duration of the school year from September 1 until July 31. Applications will be discarded at that time and a new application must be completed. It is your responsibility to make sure the information in your data file is current.

    Alumni: Placement services for alumni are available for 5 years from the date of graduation. Alumni must register each year for placement services. Please keep the job placement office informed of your current contact information – name, address, phone number, and email address. It is your responsibility to make sure the information in your data file is current.

    Registration for services: Complete a placement data sheet and submit it to the Job Placement Office with a copy of your current resume. Graduates may elect to submit their transcript with their resume also. Information from data sheets and resumes will be used to match students with jobs.

    To be referred for a position, you must meet the minimum qualifications for a job listing. The placement office has the option to submit student resumes or data sheets on the student's behalf or contact the student to make application for jobs.
