The Associate in Science degree is designed for students who wish to transfer to a university to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following fields of study: agriculture, biological/life sciences, engineering, engineering technologies, health professions and related clinical sciences, mathematics and statistics, parks and recreation, fitness studies, physical sciences, science education, social sciences, and transportation and materials moving.

Students who wish to major in a field of science but are undecided about their major field should complete one of the following degree or diploma requirements before they transfer to a UNC System university:

Students who wish to transfer to one of the sixteen universities in the UNC System and earn a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in one of the following fields of study should open the appropriate link below and follow the requirements of the specific Associate in Science Articulation Agreement.

Are you interested in a career that may require graduate school?
Students who are interested in a career in dentistry, law, medicine, theology or ministry, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, or veterinary medicine are usually required or at least strongly encouraged to earn a bachelor's degree before applying to one of these graduate or professional degree programs.
