Millions of people rely on public services everyday. Public service workers in law enforcement, fire and rescue, and emergency medical services respond to the immediate needs of our society.

The public services industry helps keep the Sandhills region of North Carolina safe, secure and healthy.

This industry has diverse workfor ce needs. The purpose of the Public Services programs is to provide our students with opportunities to gain hands-on experience from an industry-experienced faculty. Our programs combine a strong core with a special focus on the unique challenges in the fields of law enforcement, fire and rescue, and emergency medical services to enhance each student's career and earning potential. In addition, recertification classes, training classes and seminars are also offered for continuing education opportunities.
