Plumbing Class to Begin in November

The Continuing Education Career Training department has designed this class to meet the locally growing demand. The plumbing career field is projected to grow 14 percent between 2018-2028 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Through this class, students will earn the NCCER Plumbing Level 1 Certification. They will be able to install/maintain basic plumbing systems, components, appliances, and fixtures through the appropriate use of plumbing tools and standard practices and obtain entry-level employment with a plumbing company.

This class will be held off-campus in the Pinehurst area on Mondays and Thursdays, Nov. 4-June 18 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Registration

Seats are still available for this class. To register in person, stop by the Sandhills Community College Continuing Education office located on the first floor of Van Dusen Hall. Registration by phone at (910) 695-3980. Registration hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
