The Associate in Fine Arts in Music and Music Education degree is designed to prepare students for transfer to a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program at a senior college or university. Students will receive a foundation in music theory, music history, and applied music performance skills.

Students should be able to audition on their primary instrument or voice and complete theory and history placement exams to allow them to continue work as juniors and to begin an area of concentration at the transfer institution.
