Manufacturing Class Begins at the Hoke Center

The Advanced Manufacturing program at Sandhills Community College offers high-tech, in-demand career training through state-of-the-art equipment designed to meet the growing demand for skilled workers. Through partnerships with local employers, this program aligns class offerings and curriculums to provide employers a pipeline of skilled workers with job-specific skills. These programs do not take an extended period to complete, and many students have employment lined up before graduation. We even offer job placement assistance and career coaching.

Learn the types, functions, and operations of packaging machinery in “Mechanical Power Transmission Fundamentals Level 3.” Topics include filling, labeling, capping, carton forming, conveying, wrapping, and other related topics.
