  • FROM ASHEVILLE
    1. Take I-40 to Statesville. Note: There are 3 exits off I-40 onto US 64. You will take the third US 64 exit south to Mocksville, about 14 miles from Statesville. Stay on US 64 to Asheboro.
    2. Outside Asheboro exit right onto US 220 south.
    3. Take US 220 south to Candor.
    4. Take the Pinehurst exit off US 220 onto NC 211 south to traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
    5. Enter the traffic circle in left lane and exit in the left lane at third exit onto NC 5 at the Sandhills exit.
    6. Move to the left lane after exiting the circle and bear left onto Airport Road. After 2 miles, you will pass the main entrance to Sandhills on your right. Continue past the main entrance for 500 yards to the Visitors Center.

  • FROM CHAPEL HILL
    1. Take US 15-501 south to Sanford. US 15-501 merges with US 1 at Sanford. Stay on US 1 to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd. and Sandhills Community College. Take this exit.
    2. Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp. Continue on NC 2 for 200 yards. Exit right onto NC 22 (Central Drive) and continue for about 3 miles to the stop light intersection of Airport Road. Turn left at the light and continue for about one mile. The Visitors Center will be on your left before the main entrance to the college.

  • FROM CHARLOTTE
    1. Take NC 24/27 to Albemarle. Stay on 24/27 and by-pass Albermarle.
    2. Continue outside Albemarle to Troy and Biscoe. About 2 miles outside Biscoe on 24/27, exit right onto US 220 south.
    3. Take US 220 south to Candor.
    4. Take the Pinehurst exit off US 220 onto NC 211 south to traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
    5. Enter the traffic circle in left lane and exit in the left lane at third exit onto NC 5 at the Sandhills exit.
    6. Move to the left lane after exiting the circle and bear left onto Airport Road. After 2 miles, you will pass the main entrance to Sandhills on your right. Continue past the main entrance for 500 yards to the Visitors Center.

  • FROM DURHAM
    1. Take US 15-501 south to Sanford. US 15-501 merges with US 1 at Sanford. Stay on US 1 to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd. and Sandhills Community College. Take this exit.
    2. Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp. Continue on NC 2 for 200 yards. Exit right onto NC 22 (Central Drive) and continue for about 3 miles to the stop light intersection of Airport Road. Turn left at the light and continue for about one mile. The Visitors Center will be on your left before the main entrance to the college.

  • FROM FAYETTEVILLE, NORTHEAST SIDE
    1. From the northeast side take NC 24 to Cameron.
    2. Drive up the hill through the village of Cameron and exit onto US 1 south.
    3. Take US 1 south to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd., Pinehurst, and Sandhills Community College. Take this exit.
    4. Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp. Continue on NC 2 for 200 yards. Exit right onto NC 22 (Central Drive) and continue for about 3 miles to the stop light intersection of Airport Road. Turn left at the light and continue for about one mile. The Visitors Center will be on your left before the main entrance to the college.

  • FROM FAYETTEVILLE, SOUTHWEST SIDE
    1. From the southwest side take US 401 to the Raeford by-pass and then NC 211.
    2. Take NC 211 to Aberdeen where NC 211 merges with US 1 and US 15-501 in Aberdeen. Continue north on 1/15-501/211 about two miles to the second stop light.
    3. Before the second stop light, merge into the left lane and continue north on US 15-501/NC 211 to the traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
    4. Approaching the traffic circle, stay in the right lane, which does not yield.
    5. Move to the left lane after exiting the circle and bear left onto Airport Road. After 2 miles, you will pass the main entrance to Sandhills on your right. Continue past the main entrance for 500 yards to the Visitors Center.

  • FROM GOLDSBORO
    1. Take US 70 to I-95 and take I-95 south.
    2. Take I-95 to Benson. Exit at Benson.
    3. In Benson take NC 27 to Coats, then Buies Creek, then Lillington, then Cameron.
    4. Drive up the hill through the village of Cameron and exit onto US 1 south.
    5. Take US 1 south to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd., Pinehurst, and Sandhills Community College. Take this exit.
    6. Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp. Continue on NC 2 for 200 yards. Exit right onto NC 22 (Central Drive) and continue for about 3 miles to the stop light intersection of Airport Road. Turn left at the light and continue for about one mile. The Visitors Center will be on your left before the main entrance to the college.

  • FROM GREENSBORO
    1. Take US 220 south to Candor.
    2. Outside Candor, exit US 220 onto NC 211 south to traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
    3. Enter the traffic circle in left lane and exit in the left lane at third exit onto NC 5 at the Sandhills exit.
    4. Move to the left lane after exiting the circle and bear left onto Airport Road. After 2 miles, you will pass the main entrance to Sandhills on your right. Continue past the main entrance for 500 yards to the Visitors Center.

  • FROM KINSTON
    1. Take US 70 to I-95 and take I-95 south.
    2. Take I-95 to Benson. Exit at Benson.
    3. In Benson take NC 27 to Coats, then Buies Creek, then Lillington, then Cameron.
    4. Drive up the hill through the village of Cameron and exit onto US 1 south.
    5. Take US 1 south to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd., Pinehurst, and Sandhills Community College. Take this exit.

  • FROM LAURINBURG
    1. Take US 15-501 North to Aberdeen. US 15-501 merges with US 1 North in Aberdeen. Continue north on 1/15-501/211 about two miles to the second stop light.
    2. Before the second stop light, merge into the left lane and continue north on US 15-501/NC 211 to the traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
    3. Approaching the traffic circle, stay in the right lane, which does not yield.
    4. Move to the left lane after exiting the circle and bear left onto Airport Road. After 2 miles, you will pass the main entrance to Sandhills on your right. Continue past the main entrance for 500 yards to the Visitors Center.

  • FROM LUMBERTON
    1. Take NC 211 to Raeford.
    2. Continue on NC 211 to Aberdeen where NC 211 merges with US 1 and US 15-501 in Aberdeen. Continue north on 1/15-501/211 about two miles to the second stop light.
    3. Before the second stop light, merge into the left lane and continue north on US 15-501/NC 211 to the traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
    4. Approaching the traffic circle, stay in the right lane, which does not yield.
    5. Move to the left lane after exiting the circle and bear left onto Airport Road. After 2 miles, you will pass the main entrance to Sandhills on your right. Continue past the main entrance for 500 yards to the Visitors Center.

  • FROM MOREHEAD CITY
    1. Take US 70 to I-95 and take I-95 south.
    2. Take I-95 to Benson. Exit at Benson.
    3. In Benson take NC 27 to Coats, then Buies Creek, then Lillington, then Cameron.
    4. Drive up the hill through the village of Cameron and exit onto US 1 south.
    5. Take US 1 south to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd., Pinehurst, and Sandhills Community College. Take this exit.

  • FROM NEW BERN
    1. Take US 70 to I-95 and take I-95 south.
    2. Take I-95 to Benson. Exit at Benson.
    3. In Benson take NC 27 to Coats, then Buies Creek, then Lillington, then Cameron.
    4. Drive up the hill through the village of Cameron and exit onto US 1 south.

  • FROM RALEIGH
    1. Take US 1 south to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd. and Sandhills Community College. Take this exit.
    2. Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp. Continue on NC 2 for 200 yards. Exit right onto NC 22 (Central Drive) and continue for about 3 miles to the stop light intersection of Airport Road. Turn left at the light and continue for about one mile. The Visitors Center will be on your left before the main entrance to the college.

  • FROM ROCKINGHAM
    1. Take US 1 North to Aberdeen.
    2. US 1 merges with US 15-501 and NC 211 in Aberdeen. Continue north on 1/15-501/211 about two miles to the second stop light.
    3. Before the second stop light, merge into the left lane and continue north on US 15-501/NC 211 to the traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
    4. Approaching the traffic circle, stay in the right lane, which does not yield.
    5. Move to the left lane after exiting the circle and bear left onto Airport Road. After 2 miles, you will pass the main entrance to Sandhills on your right. Continue past the main entrance for 500 yards to the Visitors Center.

  • FROM ROCKY MOUNT
    1. Take I-95 to Benson. Exit at Benson
    2. In Benson take NC 27 to Coats, then Buies Creek, then Lillington, then Cameron.
    3. Drive through the village of Cameron and exit onto US 1 south.
    4. Take US 1 south to Southern Pines. The first exit is to Midland Rd. and Sandhills Community College. Take this exit.
    5. Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the off-ramp. Continue on NC 2 for 200 yards. Exit right onto NC 22 (Central Drive) and continue for about 3 miles to the stop light intersection of Airport Road. Turn left at the light and continue for about one mile. The Visitors Center will be on your left before the main entrance to the college.

  • FROM WHITEVILLE
    1. From Whiteville. Continue on US 74/76 to Laurinburg.
    2. Take the US 15-501 by-pass from Laurinburg to Aberdeen. Note: The by-pass also includes US 401 to Raeford and Fayetteville. US 501 exits right off of the by-pass. You will then turn left over US 401 and continue to Aberdeen.
    3. In Aberdeen, 15-501 will merge with NC 211 and US 1. Continue north on 1/15-501/211 about two miles to the second stop light.
    4. Before the second stop light, merge into the left lane and continue north on US 15-501/NC 211 to the traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
    5. Approaching the traffic circle, stay in the right lane, which does not yield.
    6. Move to the left lane after exiting the circle and bear left onto Airport Road. After 2 miles, you will pass the main entrance to Sandhills on your right. Continue past the main entrance for 500 yards to the Visitors Center.

  • FROM WILMINGTON
    1. From Wilmington, take US 74/76 to Whiteville. Continue on US 74/76 to Laurinburg.
    2. Take the US 15-501 by-pass from Laurinburg to Aberdeen. Note: The by-pass also includes US 401 to Raeford and Fayetteville. US 501 exits right off of the by-pass. You will then turn left over US 401 and continue to Aberdeen.
    3. In Aberdeen, 15-501 will merge with NC 211 and US 1. Continue north on 1/15-501/211 about two miles to the second stop light.
    4. Before the second stop light, merge into the left lane and continue north on US 15-501/NC 211 to the traffic circle outside Pinehurst.
    5. Approaching the traffic circle, stay in the right lane, which does not yield.
    6. Move to the left lane after exiting the circle and bear left onto Airport Road. After 2 miles, you will pass the main entrance to Sandhills on your right. Continue past the main entrance for 500 yards to the Visitors Center.

  • FROM WILSON
    1. From Wilson, take I-95 to Benson. Exit at Benson
    2. In Benson take NC 27 to Coats, then Buies Creek, then Lillington, then Cameron.
