visit this site: Free Email Providers Guide .
Each type of email provider will first require you to sign up. As part of this process, you will be asked to create a login name. Your login, along with your password, is what you will use to access your account. It is also the first part of your email address. For example: if you choose whizkid as your login name, your email address may be whizkid@hotmail.com.
Your password is the key to opening your account. Select something no one else will be able to guess. Remember your password. No one will be able to help you access your account if you happen to forget it.
The sign up page may ask for additional information. Read and fill out only as much information as you are comfortable sharing and that is necessary for obtaining an account. Some email providers require more information than others. Once you have signed up, you will not need to do so again.
Access Your Account
To access your account, first access the login page. The quickest way to do this when you are on a public computer is to open the browser (either Netscape or Internet Explorer) and click in the location bar located at the top of the screen. Delete the current URL (or address), such as http://www.whateverwebsite.com.
Type in the name of your email provider, such as Yahoo or Hotmail, and
press Enter.
Once you are at your login page, click in the login box and type your login. Click in the password box and type your password. Click the button that opens your account. This will load the page that displays your Inbox. Any email that has been sent to you will be listed. You may read your mail by double-clicking on the underlined title of the email letter.
Each email provider displays a menu of buttons that help you with your email. For instance, a button labelled Compose will display a screen that you can use to send an email. Take time to become familiar with the various buttons and links that perform functions within your account before you send or receive critical email.
Attach a Document
Attaching documents is a simple process. Both Hotmail and Yahoo have clear, concise directions for attaching documents. To view a sample of the directions, click on Hotmail Attachments.
