Our Mission

The mission of the SCC Career Center is to educate and support our students and alumni with the career development process, and to assist them in making solid career decisions.

Serving Students and Alumni

Whether you are looking for part-time work while a student at the college or if you graduated within the past five years, we can help you in many ways. Explore our services from the links on the left.

Serving SCC Faculty

The Carer Center offers workshops and presentations in the classrooms according to faculty needs. Typical topics are work ethics, professionalism, interviewing, crafting a resume, what to expect the first year on the job, teamwork, etc.

Assisting Local Employers

We help employers connect with our students and recent graduates in a number of ways.

Career Fairs   We hold a Health Sciences Career Fair each year during fall semester and a Career Fair for all majors during spring semester. These are opportunities for our students to discuss potential careers with professionals and a chance for employers to share their expertise, accept resumes, and even interview students and recent graduates.
